The leaves of the Spearmint Herb plant offer a lighter, sweeter flavor than most mints and is most often used for cooking in savory dishes, in teas, sweets, chewing gum, mixed drinks, toothpaste and fragrances. Mint is easy to grow and does well in full to part sun locations with moist soil. Plants can be aggressive if planted in the soil. They do great in containers. Pollinators love the flowers.
